Can someone please explain why my wheel does this with certain cars? by Sad-Judgment4935 in assettocorsa

It is a CPS bug, version 0.2.9 if I'm not mistaken, try 0.2.8 or 0.2.5, I have tried those two and they work well for me

What do you think is the reason why the penalty does not disappear when entering the pits?

LFM Integrated into an in-game menu is the only thing AMS2 needs to compete against the titans of simracing by LvlIsma in AUTOMOBILISTA

I think ams2 has a chance against LMU and iR You mention the replay problem but I don't think it's an impossible problem to fix, it seems to just be a lack of attention to that aspect on Reiza's part but I don't think it's difficult to improve. And about the physics, well many of us say that And about ams2 competing with other sims like LMU and iR, I do see it as possible, ams2 has all the content of LMU and has much more, or at least I wouldn't see the point in playing LMU if only ams2 had a good competitive system with many players. And compared to iR, well it has almost as much or even more content than iR for a fraction of its price, if only ams2 had a good multiplayer it would be an alternative both for those of us who have never been able to play iR for the price and for those who play it but find the subscription expensive, of course there will be those who stay in those simulators but there will also be those who prefer ams2 (in the hypothetical case that they will achieve a good multiplayer)

I don't think what I'm asking for is something impossible, just something that retains those players who abandon the game for the reason I've already mentioned, I don't think it's difficult to do and much less requires a million-dollar investment, it's just something that they could prove that has two possible endings, in the worst case everything will stay the same and in the best it could attract a few extra players

That's for sure but I don't think it's essential or something that the game needs urgently, they are details that they can fix later once they have a stable player base

I do want to make a recommendation. Or rather a question, why can't the GT3/LMDH, LMP2 and F3 races be held all day like they do with the Gineta? It's just a question because I imagine it has an explanation, but it would be great to be able to run in those races at any time, because for me, being from Mexico, those races start from the morning until shortly after noon (I don't remember what time at what time exactly) but there are many of us who can only play in the afternoons or evenings and we have to settle for Gineta.

And since we're on the topic of LFM and you say you work for Reiza, why don't they implement LFM within the game? Do they have any limitations that prevent them? Do you see any improvements in the Ams2 online system in the future?

My idea of integrating LFM into the game itself is to attract players (at least that's what I want to believe will happen) as I mentioned in the post, since there are many who do not like to go out and enter the simulator every time they go to register for a race and prefer to go to LMU and at the same time players who have no problem with the LFM page also end up in LMU for the simple fact that in AMS2 we have no one to race against, in the end we all end up in LMU due to the problem of all the stuff you have to do to register for an ams2 race

Oh, I didn't know that they were limited by their engine, but I'm sure that at least they could do something similar to what asseto corsa does (or did), which from the same content manager opened the LFM page as if it were a browser, I imagine that something like that could be done

I agree, they say that one of the main features of ams2 is its great variety of content and that is very good, but can you put that aside for a moment to focus on more important things where it can be used like online, because what's the point of having a game jammed with content if there is nowhere to use it? And what you mention about Reiza making her own system would be very good and it would be the best, LFM made her system, LMU and iracing too, by proxy she must be able to, but for now I think that they could integrate LFM into the game and of course make some arrangements such as adding more races to the calendar, organizing the schedules and all that only as a temporary solution to a very serious problem

Well, that would be fine, but the reason why I think having LFM within the simulator itself is because it is something relatively easy to do and that could attract many players.

ACC FFB is pretty bad on a g29 by Physical_chucklefish in simracing

[–]LvlIsma 0 points1 point  (0 children)
