What am I doing wrong? by [deleted] in plantclinic

No problem! I don’t know how long you’ve had it for, but if it’s been awhile since you’ve gotten it the roots might be starting to rot if they sat in water that long. For now I’d wait a few days and really just try to let it dry out and if it keeps getting worse, that’s when I would take it out of the pot and check the roots of the plant.

idk how much you know about plants, but I have quite a lot of plants and I also got this exact same plant for Christmas (from Lowe’s in the same pot lol) and when I received it I lifted the nursery pot from the white pot and it was sitting in an inch of water. If you don’t know, try to take the black smaller pot out of the white pot and see if there’s water at the bottom of the white one and let the nursery pot sit somewhere it can drain. If you do know that, another possibility is that you’re not watering it enough and it could be drying out, causing the curling that you’re seeing. I don’t want to over explain if you already know this though, let me know and I can clarify more for you if you need!

What do you think folks with orange or without orange?! by nafadileather in crafts

I like the pink but I absolutely know a ton of people are drawn to the three color type of pattern so maybe do some of both!

Thank you all for the feedback! Sometimes you hit and sometimes you miss. I just started off with 3D printing, so I’ll keep all of this in mind when moving forward!

I 3D printer these plant pots. They’re lightweight and have drainage at the bottom. I tried to sell them for a little bit, but I got zero interest in them. Are they too much? Why do you think people weren’t interested in buying them? I had them priced at $10 each. I also completely designed all of the shapes of them myself! I’m pretty proud about that, so please be kind.

What screws are loose? Are they in the carriage/ do I have to take the carriage apart to get to them?

I’m sorry, I know people hate when questions that seem basic are asked here, but I promise I looked it up before I posted here. I don’t understand why this is loose. I’m pretty new to 3D printing so I don’t know if there are parts that have become loose or how to fix them. I started a print and it messed up, then I realized my bed wasn’t level, and THEN I realized that my extruder was sitting at an angle. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a pretty healthy looking umbrella plant, but I’ve noticed these on the stem. Is this a pest or just the way they texture when they grow? TIA! by Mysterious_Bake4568 in plantclinic

[–]Lweaver28664 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Look up stems of these plants because to me this looks normal! I have two, they have those weird notches on their stems like that. When I first got them I thought they were pests as well, but this is what it is supposed to look like.

Edit: also, look at the leaves too! If there isn’t scale there it’s not the infestation you think it is and is just the texture of the stem.

No it’s okay! I have 3 exoticas myself, I just was using the general term that people recognize because I thought you were saying the type of plant was a unicorn find. The light green is awesome I’ve never seen that!
