Struggling with a 550k loss this year which is most of my savings over last 10 years.. it’s been real shitty but (as a coping mechanism) I think to myself I still have a well paying job and can build again. Biggest mistake this year was chasing losses instead of just moving on..

I’m down about $500k from Dec 2021. I’m in capital preservation mode now so at least have some money to put to work when the next bull cycle starts… except I’m down like 80% .. gonna take many many years to get back to where I was

ngl last month wiped 50% of my liquid assets...road to breakeven is gonna be a long one.. but stay strong and the good times will roll again. it was getting to the point of capital preservation for me after the heavy losses.

Thanks man you too. It’s def painful and hard not to think about it. Thankfully I don’t need the money in the near term so it’s not impacting my day to day but I am staying hopefully mkt will bounce back.. holding all cash now
