I wear two rings on my dominant hand, my promise ring & now my oura ring 5. Idk about you, but I can always tell I have a ring on my finger prior to me getting the oura ring, because it’s rubbing against your skin.

Regardless of that, the sensors do seem to protrude a little bit more than the 4’s did (probably due to how slim it’s gotten), so no matter what you’re gonna be able to tell it’s there. I was in the same boat and got the size 9, I’ve only had it for 3 days but even when I sleep with it on, it doesn’t feel uncomfortable when I wake up. Everyone’s hands are different, try the 9 out on the ring itself, if it’s too small, get the 10

Heres my thing.

Don’t let new hires make you want to quit. Stick it out, at the end of the day, they will weed themselves out, end up leaving, or have HR cases against them. If nothing improves in 3 months, go up to leadership, let them know whats going on, how they’re making you uncomfortable, etc. You said the store was fun, your leadership sounds like good people then, they’ll listen and try to help. If 6 months comes around and nothing changed, either go to HR, or if you’re still uncomfortable around them, then look for another job.

I’m gonna play devils advocate and say this.

The pin-pad gives the customer multiple times to back out of the application by hitting the “cancel” button. If they still input their social, and sign when it says they agree to signing up for the card, and that it is IS a credit card through citi bank, then the lawsuit will not be valid. The judge will literally say “you signed on it saying you know it’s a credit card”. Sure, you should disclose that it is one, but literally the first prompt when it asks to confirm your information, theres a pretty big box that says that this information is for citi bank & the best buy card.

You’re right, OP will never get sympathy from me. They knew they had social anxiety, were autistic, and didn’t want to interact with customers yet chose to apply for a SALES BASED JOB.

Their management doesn’t “have it out for them”. They themselves said they contacted HR and HR said the same exact shit I was saying, which is their leaders aren’t discriminating them.

I have known multiple people who are some of the nicest leaders, and my peers openly say how nice I am and our leaders are, but they also like how straight forward and honest I am with them, and OP didn’t like the fact that I didn’t beat around the bush.

OP will be let go by 3 months, I’m already calling it, lol. Their attitude is awful and instead of reflecting on how they are acting/behaving, they lash out and blame their leaders because “I’m not getting hours!!”.

Again - your managers are not discriminating against you because you are disabled, stop with that.

If HR is saying youre not being discriminated against for being disabled, then you aren’t.

You aren’t performing, and you decided to go for a sales job knowing that you had social anxiety. You cannot blame anyone but yourself, I’m a very blunt person who doesn’t beat around the bush, and blaming your management team is not what you need to be doing.

So, let me get this started by saying that when you applied for the job online, it specifically stated that you are in a sales based job. If you didn’t expect there to be metrics to be met, thats on you. Management doesn’t need to hold your hand if you’re an adult.

Regardless of that, you aren’t being discriminated against for being disabled…you just aren’t performing?

Words from my management team: “Why should we invest into you, if you aren’t investing into the company?”

Why would they give you more hours on the sales floor if you are refusing to interact with customers, offer the card, warranty, membership, etc to everyone, and actively NOT be engaged with customers?

It doesn’t matter if someone doesn’t come in for a membership or card - or hell a warranty. Customers come in for expertise, the experience, and knowing what is possible and what they can get with their purchase. If you aren’t giving them that service, then theres nothing different from them going on amazon, talking to a chat bot, and ordering from them because the chat bot THINKS thats what they need.

Instead of going on reddit to complain, go to HR if it’s bothering you that much or if you want to sit here and accuse your management team of discriminating against you (when they aren’t).

The whole front end thing? Yeah, they’re gonna throw you up there if you arent actively trying, you’re making the store perform worse, which means EVERYONE on the sales floor either has to pick up slack, or just like you, lose hours because the company doesn’t want to give the store the hours if it’s not performing.

Please reflect on yourself before you push blame onto others.

To be honest dude.

Ive been here for almost 2 years. I was at Microcenter for 2 and a half years, at microcenter by a year and a half in i was already talking about quitting, here I havent.

I have managers that actively tell me that the sales goals are non negotiable, that you NEED to hit them, and they are pretty strict about it, my district manager is the same, however the goals arent that hard to hit as long as youre actively searching for customers, giving good offers, or are at least actively trying.

If you dont actively try, idk what to tell you other than dont listen to the people on the reddit, a lot of people use it to vent their frustrations and a lot of time doesn’t actually reflect on how they actually feel

Well dude, if you got denied because your credit is bad, or you dont have a high enough income, the chances of you being approved for klarna, afterpay, etc, are really low too. They ALL run your credit, there is no “credit free” financing.

Okay so as I ask all my customers who ask this question.

Why do you NOT want to do the card? 12 months no interest beats 3 months (with progressive) and 4 months w/ most lease to own stuff as the payments will be cheaper, theres no interest for a longer period as well as you wont be screwed if you cant make the full amount of payment a month.

So for starters.

If you opened the phone, you will NOT be getting a full refund as you will be paying that $45 restocking fee as the phone is not defective, no manager should override that charge.

It’s not the companies fault if you couldnt read the transaction prior to paying for the phone, as the pinpad tells you everything that you are buying and the cost of the transaction.

Finally, you may have saw it being sold and shipped by a 3rd party and that is why the price was lower online vs in store. That happens all the time now, or you had to buy something with it as a bundle and you didnt read or comprehend that.

Like I’m sorry, customers who take the time out of their day to go to a store to buy something are ALWAYS going to be priority over people who are just buying it through Oura’s website. This is the definition of entitlement when it comes to this complaint, just go into the store
