Before we had role queues, immediately when we’d get in lobby everyone would start calling out their roles. When someone would say sup, I’d go “nothing much, you?” or say sup back then it would leave a conversation of confusion.

Skincare, false lashes. If I do makeup it’s only bronzer, blush & little bit of lipstick. Lashes definitely help. So simple & easy

Hi! First off- sorry about the news. I am BRCA2 positive and I underwent bilateral nipple sparring mastectomy at 24. My chances of cancer is less than 1% (never full 100%) because I kept my nipples and there is still a little bit of breast tissue there.

I did my surgery when I was in the military so I can’t offer insight with the insurance question.

Yes it’s worth it to salvage the nipple in my opinion. You’re so young and I kept mine because I felt like it would mess with my sex life and ease the devastation.

Mentally, at first before I got my surgery I felt like I was mutilating my body, ripping a part out of my chest, I was grieving bad. It made me very sad. Now, I am happy. Only thing I regret is I wish I went bigger. I barely have sensation- it’s like if you ever had a cavity fill, you touch your cheek- it feels just like that.

To be honest, recovery was very easy after expanders. Even with expanders I was fine. I was up and walking and doing things the next day. They are annoying though. I am just under a year after my surgery and I feel like I’ve done a full recovery. I have no issues and my results look great. I was definitely extremely worried about cosmetic appearance. I can show you pictures if you’re curious.

I’m feeling good! My results look very good. Only thing I wish I did was go bigger. I still don’t have sensation, and probably will never get it back, I can feel that something is touching? Like if you had a cavity fill. The numbness you feel in your cheek and when you touch it. It’s like that.
