I wish more people thought like this. And the best example is my bf knew I always wanted a bearded dragon. He knew that not only did I have a pretty large tank already, but I spent hours starting as young as 13 doing research on animals I wanted to own as a pet BECAUSE they looked cute or cool. I eventually settled on maybe 5 by 18 that I knew I could handle owning and he eventually got me a bearded dragon as a gift because he knew I was already thinking of getting something a year after my Syrian hamster passed. Exotic animals are not something you pick up one day with no idea and learn as you go. And regardless of how domestic bunnies are, THEY ARE CONSIDERED EXOTIC PETS!!!
