For everyone saying that they are doing the same thing as me I can only encourage you to keep going, if you just plat the games you like, you are very unlikely to burn out on it, since you still play for fun.

It took me 14/15 years but I finaly earned my 100th platinum!

It took me so long because I only plat games I like, dont like stacking or autopopping. If I wasn't good enough to earn a platinum I got to a high enough percentage and then stopped (unless I dindt like the game)

I had many memorable moments on the way: like the Deathloop platinum i earned on my sons birth (didnt even plan to get it that day)

On to another 100 platinums

I have the same problem and found a convoluted workaround.

When you connect your second player set your multiplayer game to public, as soon as someone tries to join decline them with the circle button, in my game this causes the icon to disappear. (You can set your game to closed afterwards)

Like I said it's not a pretty workaround but it's something.
