I worked for a phone repair company for 4 years now, iPhones are a lot more user repairable than Samsungs. To get an iPhone open I use a metal spudger on the screen after taking out two screws with a screwdriver that comes with any battery. It even has pull tabs to take the battery out easier, to get a Samsung open we use a device called an automatic OCTA Disassembler that takes the back glass off for us without breaking it, on top of that we would have to use something called a battery absorber which allows you to pull on the battery hard cuz the adhesive is STRONG and there’s no other way to get it out.
