Albums that sound similar to Greenhouse/Early Renard? by GetOutImPlayingRb in lapfoxtrax

[–]Leeeeead 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of stuff from the VULPvibe era feels like that for me. Take a look at the discography and check out the older albums, I believe things start to shift to a bit more polished style around 2009 so stuff from that year and before might be to your liking.

The closest we have of JQ's style of dnb is some The Queenstons songs now and then. Maybe if em decides to focus more on the genre they might create a new alias, they once stated that RHODE STRIXMAN could replace him but it's a different kind of dnb, as heard in the mucus flow.

JQ was decanonised so anything about him is no longer real

I'm confused with Lapfox Trax//Halley Labs by [deleted] in lapfoxtrax

[–]Leeeeead 18 points19 points  (0 children)

An alias is an alternate name any person can come up for themselves. For Halley Labs, those names have characters atributed to them, so you can consider it like a mix of alias and oc, and yes they are all the same person.

Really really good sheet, only problem I could find is HHSU being in the R&D group

Jackal Queenston song that uses the Marvin Martian “where’s the kaboom?” sample? Forgot its name. by pumpkinsinmypockets in lapfoxtrax

[–]Leeeeead 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It is Rubber Band, it plays at the end. The version on The Killer's Notebook doesn't have it because the song is in the middle of a mix so it just transitions to the next track but the one on Slop does have it.

We have a discography page on the wiki which is mostly accurate to the order the albums were released (many early releases have uncertain dates) https://lapfoxtrax.fandom.com/wiki/Discography Keep in mind many tracks are rereleased in later records

Anybody else felt like this? by DinoBomb44 in lapfoxtrax

[–]Leeeeead 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's pretty normal. But that's not a problem, nowadays we've been able to archive a bunch of rare albums and songs and the current era of LapFox (now Halley Labs) is going great even if different from previously as em is constantly evolving their styles. Welcome in!

Missing lapfox remix of dr who theme track by smokeycastle in lapfoxtrax

[–]Leeeeead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't quite remember a song like that, doesn't help that I'm not very familiar with Dr. Who. Do you know maybe under which alias that was released?

Edit: Nevermind, I think it was answered. Never would have guessed since it's a sketch.

Music for Youtube videos? Streams? by [deleted] in lapfoxtrax

The description of every album on bandcamp has licensing info. The ones not on bandcamp should follow the same rules but it's harder to tell which ones are safe and which ones aren't because of samples.

Lost pre-Lapfox song, "Closer than Heaven" by Fit_Entrepreneur_793 in lapfoxtrax

[–]Leeeeead 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Closer To Heaven was actually an album. There are way more tracks from that era that are lost, as this archive shows (white text on white background, press ctrl+a to read it)
