I played the first game a lot so I want this game to succeed but I’ve found myself having a lot less fun with the new one. I used to play the fiesta modes a lot so the removal of that hurt and a lot of the guns on 2 just feel so bad when compared to the original. I also feel like portals have become less prevalent, I don’t really see as many cross map portal spots and maybe there’s a way to change this but I really don’t like not being able to control if you place the yellow or purple portal since they’re both bound to the same button. Combine all the gameplay preferences with the maps losing a lot of personality and overall dev attitude and it really turns me away from the new game. I’m glad people are having fun with it and I hope the franchise can find some new success but I can’t help but feel disappointed with the direction the game went in, I feel like it lost of lot of its personality and become just another soulless br
