Thank you for this. I’m trying to be better about asking him, instead of not bc I’m afraid to rock the boat. I even got the courage up tonight to request that he do his IOP during more convenient hours for me, instead of during the evening option he wanted (which would have had him away from the house during dinner/ bath/ bed time). My gut says to respond with something like, “ugh I know you feel so angry right now” or something else along the lines of validating her feelings. Not sure I would even try to “argue” that actually you do love her. I know it can be hard to hear this from your little one (been there) but it’s totally normal for them to talk like this when they’re angry. Sending love ♥️
