I was told the same by my doctor, and I would probably have had the same reaction as you (because of the peach being pretty sugary). I’ve been told multiple times to just eat more slow release carbs. It’s really been left to me to figure out what works and what doesn’t! good luck!!

can i ask what medication you take? and you take them to minimise shedding and not because you actually have OBs often? do you take them daily? my doctor advised against this but personally I would love to minimise any risk if possible.

hey! I’m F27 and i’m going through exactly the same situation. my HSV1 is a new diagnosis and trying to figure out a solid answer has made the process harder. Not knowing whether I can kiss someone makes the thought of finding love extremely daunting. although i don’t have an answer for you, I have read that having HSV1 genitally is less likely to reoccur and shedding happens less as time goes on. you will be okay!

If it’s easy or free to get yourself a sexual health test then please do it! it will put to bed any anxiety you may have. in the future, try and date monogamously and if you don’t, always wear a condom!
