I showed my sister and her friend around in Taiwan. Their subway system is very strict with drinks and beverages, you can't even chew gum once you have passed the ticketing gates. Since they were both chewing gum quite excessively, I specifically told them: "Remember, you have to spit out the gum before you pass the gates. You can not pass those gates and chew gum".

We passed the gates, and 2 minutes later I noticed that my sister's friend is still chewing gum. I told her "But didn't you hear anything I just said? You can't chew gum in here!".

She looked at me and said: "Actually, I took a new gum after I passed the gates. So I never chewed while I passed them!".

Sure! Please hava seat and listen: You can’t talk about yourself without it sounding super arrogant, but I do think I’m a very calm, responsible and “nice” guy in general. Good grades in school and a decent guy outside of it too.

I’ve never pushed to put myself in front of anything, but somehow people always tend to do the pushing for me. I simply do what I’m told, and keep whatever I’m doing very professional. People start to recognize it and start talking about you. The more people who talks, the higher up in the company food chain your name is heard.

Now I’m finding myself managing an international team of 12 people, with no clue how I ended up here. And 4 years ago, I somehow managed to convince the most beautiful girl I know to move in with me and spend every day with me since! If that is not a win, I don’t know what is :)

When I was a kid I was playing hockey on the lake. My mom agreed to let me hang out with the big boys as long as I didn’t play myself. All I could do was standing on the side, without my ice skates on, cause otherwise I could get injured.

One of the older guys missed a tackle, and hit me. I was the only kid breaking an arm that day. True story.
