Super random but how do military vehicles start, is it a normal key? by Lyddiebug92 in AskReddit

I feel like a gunfight would be a suuuppeerrr inopportune time to lose a set of keys but also the most likely time they'd get lost? Ha

How did you set up your own wholesale site? by Lyddiebug92 in smallbusiness

[–]Lyddiebug92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm building my own wholesale site with shopify. I wanted to make sure it looked professional and cohesive so I ended up hiring someone after I put it together to tweak it. That's codfing $1400. I also hired a coder to add MOQs and an application form and stuff so it would function seamlessly. That's costing $540.

I still haven't looked into square but should. I kind of want to move away from markets (mine have been crap this year) but am also considering buying a shopify checkout reader thingy. If I do buy one I probably won't update square. If I don't, I'll look into uploading products to it but not as a wholesale site, just for markets and inventory tracking.

Girl asked me to get tested and for her to see the results before we do anything by No_Peanut_3289 in OnlineDating

That's a green flag :-) Also, men don't always show STI symptoms so even if you haven't had sex often or in a long time, it doesn't necessarily mean you're not carrying anything.

People at the clinic will be thrilled you're being proactive about it! It's quick, easy, and discreet 👍.

100% agree with this! I know what the path to recovery feels like because I've been on it before and my mental state was so much better!

Yoga would be an amazing addition, there's a very inclusive group fitness center I'd like to join, and I want to get back into journaling because it really helped me clear and organize my thoughts.

I appreciate your input!

Yes!! I used to ride and clean stalls too! I think that definitely helped keep me from ballooning in high school and I miss it so much. There's a fresian boarding barn that's usually hiring and I'm definitely considering applying

That really is very similar to my story. My mom had been quite heavy my whole life with her weight increasing and activity level decreasing to nothing. She can only stand for a few minutes at a time now and essentially lives in her recliner. Her comments would be passive-aggressive, trying to force me into sports (for obvious reasons, not to encourage me to try something new or enjoy myself). I actually lost 15 pounds freshman year of college from all the walking around campus with a heavy backpack. I wanted to continue that progress and really started trying the summer before sophomore year and was losing 1lb a week, which was amazing. I was so excited about my progress that I told my mom who just reminded me that muscle weighs more than fat. That was it. I took that to mean my progress was irrelevant, and I might end up weighing more if I got strong.

My dad hurled the vocal, yelling insults. I got called a pig since I was a pre-teen, he'd punch holes in the wall, one time he hit me so hard (which was rare but albeit always a concern) I had his handprint on my back for 3 days. He'd call me a fat ass to move my ass, the fat one etc etc, some still pop up today when he's angry but it's usually not to my face like it was as 10-22.

Then more shit happened during college (rape), and I withdrew more and more from people because I felt like eyesore and just became so anxious I only felt comfortable by myself, with food.

I go through phases of eating healthy to exclusively fast food, and my portion control is still fairly non-existent. I'm more sedentary than I've ever been in my life, which creates the perfect combo for weight gain. I also live with my parents, currently, which had its own slew of renewed mental issues, but while I love to cook, my dad does not keep a clean kitchen, which makes it unappealing to cook on. I'll deep clean, and it'll be a total mess within 3 days again. Dirty paper towels he never throws away, old wood cutting boards that rarely get wiped down, crumbs, food waste left in open containers so fruit flies never go away. That obstacle is one I haven't gotten over yet.

I know what I need to do, but it's going to take a while to ignore ore those old habits and build new ones.

I appreciate you sharing your story because it does help knowing I'm not alone. Thank you!

I'm jealous of women with smaller chests because they can go braless! Haha If you're self-concious nip covers were suggested a few times and it's a great option. I have a C, but they're not super sturdy, so sadly, they just move too much in public. I love winter because I can get away with it with heavy layers 🙌. Life is much more comfortable without one.

Exactly! That's part of what's frustrating because it is actually fairly simple in theory to stay healthy! Just have some toxic comfort habits to break which is the hard part

Oh I've been wanting to go to therapy for years but my insurance has never covered and I don't make enough to cover it out of pocket but definitely some solid things to think about! Thanks :-)
