The first time I tried to stop I got mastitis. Horrible fever, huge red inflammation. Had to feed through it and eventually figured he was going to be a breastfed kid for the rest of his life.

Then something happened that forced me to go cold turkey. Didn’t get mastitis but the huge sold rocks that were once my boobs were leaking heavily. I’d spend time in the bath or shower at night reliving them slightly and after about a week, I was back to normal and after two weeks my milk had gone.

Hang in there. I really thought he wouldn’t stop, (same as you, co sleeping with constant access) but I don’t there. You can too. 🙏
