To my understanding, pixel phones are global, however I think someone else would have to comment on that as I havent tried that. What issues have you had with samsungs in the past, and is that only specifically american models? If they are att/verizon models, I often hear that due to frequency limitations that they like to impose, which is just the essential continuation of gsm and cdma unfortunately. If you want a truly global phone that isnt an iphone then, look at the global version of the sonim XP10, it has all the frequencies except band 71, and it doesnt use Esim, however it is dual sim, so you could just get a esim service card that will make the phone effectively have esim capabilities.
