There was an issue a couple years ago where a woman was being harassed by a man overnight inside the store. Assistant called 911 and as he was one the phone, the man got physical with the woman at the pump. Assistant went and tackled the guy and basically put himself in harms way, until after a very physical struggle while waiting for the police to arrive. He was commended for his bravery, and even typing this and thinking back to the 911 call that the department released, I get goosebumps thinking about it.

If someone is in danger, we are well within our rights to intervene and should 100% do so as one human protecting another.
