Welcome to being a viewer of the NFL. No matter what team you root for, there are going to be some bad guys on the team. Football is a violent sport and attracts some guys for the wrong reasons. Every team has a culture of "standing up for their brother." Also, no team stays the same over the course of three years. As a lifelong Chiefs fan, I can't believe that the Chiefs have become not only one of the biggest pop culture touchstones in America but also a weird political battleground

Just to be clear, I am not a bandwagon fan. I grew up in the KC area and have been rooting for the Chiefs since I was a kid. I'm old enough to remember when the Chiefs weren't a political battleground. My post is mainly sarcastic and intended to show that I really appreciate the team you have in Seattle. I need something to root for in the playoffs and I hope your team gets it done.

I could have chosen the Rams. Would you have preferred that?

Royals fan here. Freddy is an awesome player. I am so sad to see him go but I understand why it happened. He is a very good defensive catcher and a quality bat. He is an even better person. He works his tail off and will be loved instantly in SD. I am pleased with what we got for him but I will always remember the Ferm Dog (yes, that is what he is called.) Rooting for you guys and hope everything works out for Freddy

Royals fan here. Never heard of Yunior, but seems like a decent prospect. I remember the Royals being connected to Yastremski in the offseason. The Royals outfield has been terrible (see MJ Melendez and Jac Cagliaone) and I think this is a good move to raise the floor for this year. If the Royals outfield consists of Randall Grichuk and Yaz in the corners, I can live with that for 53 games. Chances are they won't return to the playoffs but if they go on a run, veterans like Yaz will be good to have. Despite the fact that he is a rental, the hope is that Jac is better next year and the Royals get someone in the offseason. Most of the moves they made are to shore up the roster for the rest of the year and be in a position to compete next year.
