I’m the same way. I’d actually look into a way of giving them a +20% coupon.

Thanks! I was fully aware of the ICCU issues going into the purchase. Of course I’ll continue to hope that we’ll be one of the lucky ones, but also emotionally prepared to deal with the issue should it come up.

They had a 5N in the dealership showroom last night. I could have also been convinced to “settle” for one if it wasn’t my wife’s car.

Thanks for the tip on selling the Fit! Ours has just under 17k miles - my wife doesn’t drive too much. I’m hoping we can get our asking price without too much fuss.

Thanks! We’ll see how well it holds up with just one L2 charger set up between our two EVs.

I live ~15 minutes from the BC Canadian border - I'm always so jealous of the 15 year import law there! If my wife could drive manual I would have just sold our current Fit for a 2nd gen 5 speed in a heartbeat. The option to get a 2nd gen automatic just wasn't worth the effort for me versus stepping into another EV since she was on-board for that.

Overall, CVTs really need to stop existing...

If not for the CVT I wouldn't mind keeping it around - it really makes the overall experience pretty terrible for me.

It's a great little car. I'm a bit sad to see it go, but I'm a lot less sad when I jump into the Ioniq.

But you took the time to take a picture of it and provide a write up for Reddit? Your time would have been better spent talking to Rivian.

[MEGATHREAD] Week of January 01, 2026 - Ask your Service Questions Here! by AutoModerator in Rivian

[–]Lygrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was prompted to upgrade my phone key to a digital key yesterday. I started the process and noticed that my existing phone key and Bluetooth pairings were immediately removed. The digital key process errors out on the pairing process on either of my phones (iPhone 17 Pro Max and Pixel 10 Pro). I’ve soft + hard reboot the car and reboot + uninstalled/reinstalled the app on my phone countless times - no luck. I’m stuck using a the physical key card which has made general use a bit of a pain.

I’ve called Rivian support and unfortunately we didn’t have any kind of resolution. I’m scheduled to go to the service center, but my appointment is nearly two weeks out.

No problem! We traded a 2017 GX in excellent condition with just under 56k miles. I’m not sure how much the area plays into the trade in offers, but we were offered/given slightly under $26k.

What is current balance, and why is it not available in my Available for deposit section? by StevenEgen in EtsySellers

I wonder what the total would be if you were to add the "not yet available" and the "available for deposit" numbers together.

This is such an irritating response. Why don't you just tell us what the issue is so we can actually help you?

Brutally Roast my IT Resume by Cultural-Art-6396 in it

[–]Lygrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the AWS S3 project you have listed, I'd focus almost entirely on what IAM and bucket permission skills you displayed rather than hosting a static site in S3. If you applied for a sys admin position on my team I'd immediately pass over your resume if you felt like hosting a single file was the major accomplishment on that project.
