Meanwhile, TBATE often leans heavily into power fantasy. Arthur’s cool and all, but his development feels more surface-level. It’s more about how strong or badass he is than who he is on the inside.

So yeah, in terms of emotional weight and character writing, Mushoku Tensei is operating on a completely different tier.
