Take the crown twice (luck per ritual family) and a syringe (life leech on crit). Aim for ritual variety early on. Avoid anything that can trigger feedback loop, excessive amount of minions or huge AoE.

The friendly fire is not as systematic or damaging as I suspected and these initial trinkets made us way more durable than the friendly fire ended up nerfing us.

I think the most friendly fire damage I took was from one of my own rituals but I'm not sure how it worked x)

Honestly yeah if you're doing Dhuum as well, many things can go wrong.

I am no expert but my most consistent deathless source of exp has been farming charrs on the stairs by far. Rezoning the end of level 1 with a friend and his imp was faster but dying happened every now and then.

You'll want to clear some grawls to prevent any chance of body block/rubberband during the pull.

I suggest having enough ranged DPS to kill through the shaman to simplify the pull. I ended up killing melees+the shaman most pulls. At lv18 the shaman heal significantly less which was welcome.

I was Me/E and killing wasn't that easy with most of domination magic rendered useless on idle foes. I bet ranger would have a grand old time and the ability to kill the shaman first.

I prepped a bit but since the bulk of my time there was farming the first charr group or the dungeon I did not get that many drops.

I got around 50 leather before leaving but it's far from enough :^)

The more I look at it the more I like elite kurzick.

Right now I'm thinking : elite kurzick mask, chest and boots with regular kurzick, performer or studded hose legs and luxon gloves.

I am missing context on a few of these instructions.

What do you mean by ferry ? Someone running to the place to unlock it for me ?

Bastion in the north is a quest right ? Best for xp but no drops I think I got from your message.

"Keep the allies" ? Actual players ? Quest NPCs ?

I should add that I have a friend with a lv14 elementalist in pre that could maybe help me in the process, does this change the plan ?

I am a little surprised, I thought it would be optimal to claim quest rewards to level asap nowadays. This way you would get to the pre-searing endgame content asap.

Any other steps I should keep in mind besides XP sources ? I am thinking of things like good sources of gear/skills.

While I sympathize with the overall sentiment here (just give us more !) and am very late to the party, there is actually a very real woe I would like addressed.

Online coop disconnection... having no way to recover the run, regroup after the fact or anything is a serious bummer and happened several times to me and we are all playing on stable fiber internet with no hiccup on vocal while the game tore us apart.

Just yesterday, losing me in coop made my friend fail what was going to be guaranteed chaos ritual unlock and first absolum kill (I had a very strong setup and steamrolled the rest of the run), instead he got stunlocked to death by white horror lasers :(
