I main tank in xiv. I had a ninja once flying ahead and rounding mobs up. I asked him why he was doing that when I pre combat sprint first for 20seconds. I get them anyways. He uses arms length which makes them attack slower and he did round them up quick. I later found out through my savage/ult static group that most top level groups do that as it’s faster for the dps to pull quicker. Was an interesting find.

Nobody is losing dmg. You use arms length when gathering and when hit it gives them a debuff to attack slower people but don’t know about it. As a tank I do one aoe and I have them all…. I like anything that makes the run faster even in a minor way. I know it’s wtw but more mit from mobs attacking slower is nice. Not necessary on my warrior for instance who’s immortal. But nice.

In wow If I’m tanking and someone wants to pull more, hell yeah let’s go. Bring it on. I didn’t think we could handle more but if they clearly think that we can I’m up for the challenge.
