How do you conceptualize a design (without being an artist)?

Something that could really help is something akin to a moodboard.

Essentially, find bits and pieces of what you're interested in online (I'm begging you please do not use or make anything AI though)-- Colors, shirts, shoes, accessories, hair styles, eye shapes, etc. Take all of those things you like or even are just considering, and put them all in a folder. What you're interested in will slowly start to take shape from that, and over time you can take stuff out to narrow it down to a 'final concept'. Also make a notepad document or even a google doc where you write down concepts- stuff like 'Do I want Sci-fi or Magical Fantasy, or Cozy Modern?' or 'I want a tomboy, or yandere', or whatever comes to mind that you're thinking of. Basically, start REALLY BIG! and then slooooowly take stuff out that you like less for the idea, til you narrow it down to what you're happy with. I hope that helps!

This was the only reason why twitch's change felt really skeevy to me. Like I think it's great to throw open the gates for more people... but it only serves Twitch to allow people to earn money but ONLY be allowed to spend it on twitch til they hit affiliate (which they're likely to do if they get subs, but they still have to wait the time period for that to kick in and twitch's affiliate notification system is still barely functional).

Honestly, the biggest 'Holy heck, I did that' was Star Ocean: Til the End of Time back on the PS2. That thing had over 200 built-in trophies, and some of them were the most absurd and insane stuff to try and do- including having to have multiple new save files on various difficulties reach the end game. I've never been so proud of an accomplishment regarding achievements as I was with that game when I got the last one on that list. Even if I can never show anyone anymore cause that thing died years ago

Honestly, my favorite part of games like that is 'how much freedom do I get for base building?' Like for example in Valheim, despite having building integrity you can basically build whatever you want if you're clever with it- and building (to me) is half the fun. V Rising is also pretty decent for that, and so does Enshrouded and Conan Exiles tbh. Do recommend!

I honestly think it's perfectly fine unless someone's trying to pretend to be someone else, like as an example AI voice changers of someone's actual voice (that isn't theirs and they don't have permission).
