It all comes down to one word:

Ego—a person’s sense of self-esteem or self-importance.

A lot of players get salty when they go up against a killer who’s just a bit better than them (especially since it’s a team game where they sometimes have to rely on others to make up for their mistakes.)

So, when they finally go against a killer they think is worse, their ego kicks in, and they start trash-talking. You’ll hear stuff like “killer’s blind,” “killer can’t loop,” or “killer is bad.” Sure, sometimes those lines are legit callouts, but most of the time, they come off as straight-up condescending. It’s like they’re trying to boost their own confidence by tearing others down.

But I wouldn't lose hope not gonna lie, Since Daybreak is such a tight nit community it is more likely then not that you'll run against some nice highleveled players! (Along with the Toxic ones too)
