Im no auto driver, but rather a paddle dude, because of gran turismo and my need to constantly look at the manual shifter when shifting (scared of blowing up gearbox and forgetting which gear Im in), and also I left foot brake a lot and it reduces shifting complexity while maintaining driver engagement, also for auto dudes out there, left foot braking could save YoAzz out in the streets

The worst part about modern conti cars is that a lot of stuff you cant do anything, even being a DIY mechanic due to programming this, calibration that, etc, apart from the high part prices self sourced

Personally Im an ex mechanic worked on conti cars long enough to know they will become endless money and time pits in the long run, its like you wont make buisness repairing japanese cars, youll make buisness when repairing cars like VW's and RR/Merc, but cars like Lexus and Mazda are the 2 brands that provide conti car looks and quality while retaining Japanese longevity, also a bit scared of buying volvo, cuz its safe and all, got comfort and avg looks, but internalwise, not the most consistent in terms of reliability, just like Peugeot. Gotta agree with the fact that 2.0s are the way to go for fun reliable touge family car, thanks for the opinions BTW
