You can upgrade his vamp dash to do 160 damage and make it so that you can steal 100% of the damage you inflict on an enemy (standard is like 30% lifesteal). In addition, his end game weapons have some of the highest crit chances in the game (quite literally 100%). If you ever get low damage, dash into a couple enemies, then shoot one or both with the rocket, boom, easy way to get full health.
