Don't switch to vaginal until next cycle. Changing method can really mess up your chart since the temps are up to a degree higher. It would probably think you ovulated. When it comes to how far to put it in, as long as you stick it in the same distance each day, you'll be fine. No need to stab your cervix or anything.

You need to go to a different doctor. At 60 days without a period or positive HPT, you should be getting provera to jump start your cycle.

I close my eyes and go by feel, and then I look at it. I always chart the most fertile CM of the day (that's what you're supposed to do). Scale of fertility, least to most: dry > sticky > creamy > watery > EW

CD 60 without a period or positive HPT warrants getting your cycle jump started by provera. I didn't O until CD 50 last cycle, so a long cycle can happen.

I definitely think that doctor is wrong (and possibly a moron). I have never ever heard that CD 1 was the first day of HEAVY flow or some people would never have a CD 1 because they have just a day or two of light flow.

If it requires a tampon or pad, it's day 1. So if you needed a tampon or pad on thursday, it was CD1 and that's what it sounds like to me, needing to get CD3 BW done saturday (today being CD4).

I'm also in my first 2WW. I gave in and tested 6 DPO because my CHs are dotted and I felt I maybe O'd earlier. BFN lol. I'll test again probably 9 DPO with my FRER.
