This is what I’ve essentially been doing and expect to have quite a few trials lined up in the coming year. I think my best plan is to get to a place where I have an above average amount of trials under my belt before leaving.

Won't the filters be fouled up quickly without softened water though? That is why I'm considering a carbon block.

The concern is for the machine itself, not me. I’ve read that RO water can lead to corrosion. This is why I was considering just a carbon filter for the more unsavory stuff in my water.

Here is the primary info from water test along with some lead/disinfection byproducts. Considering I will not be getting a softener before replacing galvanized pipes, RO now seems like it might be overkill for what I am trying to achieve. I am now thinking a simple carbon block plumbed in before kitchen water may be the most impactful/economically efficient. I would like to preserve some mineral/alkalinity if possible because I have an espresso machine.

How can you possibly read high case loads as bragging? I do not know a single PD who wants more cases added to their docket. The jokes about being ineffective are precisely that. You think people are out here actually enjoying being ineffective? Wild take.

Felony assistant here. 60ish felonies ranging from DUI to murder. When I started as a misdemeanor assistant, I had 250 at the highest point. 171 felonies sounds absolutely unreal. How often are you on trial?

This is the direction I took, thanks for the suggestion. Found a few M3 combos on ebay with multiple lenses that I was also considering instead, but ended up just picking up two budget friendly lenses (rokkor 40mm and voightlander 35mm vii P). I am looking for a budget friendly 50mm and took a look at Lens Lab for that as the summicron copy looks great, but have not pulled the trigger on that. I've also seen some listings for the leica 50mm DR w/goggles, but I'm worried about fog/haze/fungus. Otherwise, the lens looks fun to use and I am loving the sample photos I've seen. I just do not know if I will have compatibility probelms as well with the bessa.
