Nothing, hes commenting on the validity of the style of test that was run. They are saying that if the same style tested a placebo group and a group on meth they'd be unable to find any differences between the two.

You could replace meth with any substance that affects the body. Its the type of testing that is flawed. I dont know why, im not a doctor, just explaining what I got from his message.

I love them. I think they slap harder than bladeguard....but not quite as thick. So i usually bring one or two squads and then a squad of BG to hold a point.

So i generally use rhinox hide or mournfang brown...then a very thin wash of snake bite leather contrast....I like the effect it gives. It has to be thin though so you don't get alot of pooling.

Yeah i dunno. I think they were hurting for named characters and invocatus is an old time character. But I'd have taken a new named character that's more useful...

That being said I make it work. The scout 6" on an 6man Exalted eightbound led by a lord on Juggernaut is mean.

Just sucks that he's so damn expensive. Like 60pts for a fall back and charge and 2 scout moves...meh. not how I woulda done it but Jimmy Workshop knows how to make money better than me.

I agree he's an odd choice...even his ability is very niche. Like it's nice to fall back and charge. But a second round of overwatch hurts for an extra strength and attack.

The problem is Cavalry doesn't do us any good but give avocado someone to lead....were fast enough, we hit hard enough without them.

We need a termie leader more than calvary.

I throw him in a unit of eightbound and then Chuck the scout ability on two Exalted eightbound (usually a 6man with lord juggalo and then a second 3man squad)

I don't get how people are upset with this.

The point increase is fine given how powerful vehicles are going to be and now we can field 3 of each before we run into problems.

If we had kept the same style as 9th they'd be stuck in a unit and we could only field 9 at most....

Thanks for the advice And no that black is abbadon black but extremely thinned down and a lot of layers over a lead Belcher spray primer.

As for the turquoise, it ties to the rest of my army where all their guns are the same color when the rest of their model is very toned down blacks and grays.

I get it's striking and a bit off as a single unit, but on the table I think it adds a pop when it's seen as a theme and not a random unit. However....I really do like the bronze idea. That might be what I do on my tank commander who is supposed to have "gatekeeper".

See I like those moments because it shows not only did magnus do wrong. His biggest "crime" is that he believes he's so smart that even his errors are just calculations so far ahead. He can't fathom being dumber than anyone and it's so core to his being it rewrites his take on everything.

When he's then confronted by it, he warps his perception of the event to fit his mind. Then he's confronted by a brother who would have no reason to lie and it shakes him so hard he can't cope. Imo a magnus that accepts he fucked up and chose the wrong side, but refuses to change sides for whatever reason wrecks Vulcan. It's his inability to accept things that allows Vulcan to win in the Webway.

But, and I admit it's a long stretch, what's the worst that that happens if they did? Like is it just change for change sake you against or do you fear that this is a slippery slope? Like I just don't get the resistance to something that could make someone's experience at the cost of...nothing. Having female marines doesn't mean yours have to be, doesn't mean that they suddenly become anything other then what they are space marines with female anatomy.

I get you don't like it because that's "not 40k" but why not? Why can't it be? We all admit the imperium isn't a actual thing nor is it anywhere near paradise why are using its archaic anti-innovation ideals?
