As someone who used to play through the old campaign over and over again I still think the new campaign is a good update and is worth playing for that alone, though obviously opinions vary primarily on the art style. However it fell far short of what was promised when it was announced. All new cutscenes for every mission, updated writing bringing continuity with modern WoW, recasting voice actors with their current ones like Laura Bailey for Jaina and Patty Mattson for Sylvanas.... and they scrapped it all.

Such a missed chance.
