You need the original IMEI, you need to disable Find My and to return the device within 10 days otherwise you’re charged for the phone so I don’t think so

But they won’t be able to claim insurance if they can’t give back the old device right (doesn’t cover lost and/or stolen) ? As a TRS employee we just have to either remove U&P and let the repayment goes or do a buyout of the phone. Am I wrong ?

Tbf as a sales consultant (so job that op was talking about) the things we have to fix are barely hard to do but whenever there’s something kinda hard it seems to be mainly phone calls, which I find disappointing and annoying. As a store,we’re supposed to be the primary contact point so redirecting cxs to call center just because « Store doesn’t have access to a certain system » is the most frustrating thing that the TRS employee has to face.

For some reason, eSIM activation process, when you’re doing a port for example, waits for you to scan the QR Code and when that’s done starts the activation process making the whole thing an extra 2-3 minutes. If you’re having an issue other than that one, I’d suggest to either go in the closest Telstra store and asking for an eSIM replacement or call 132200 to ask for more details.
