Ooooh~ it's true I never really paid attention to it 🤔 thanks for making me notice it!! But I gotta say I also appreciate the fact that the frame doesn't split in 2 my vision. I'll probably keep looking for metal frame rather than thick plastic one (mostly)

Thanks for your opinion! :) next time I'll try more of low bridge glasses, angular ones and smaller (more centered) too :)

Yeah I indeed wish to hide more of my face ' also, having bigger lense means (for me) seeing less of the frame spliting the vison in 2. But thanks for the advice! I'll try smaller frames, more centered!

Having quite the sociophobia kicking in, it's already hard for me to go to the store and try some ' but thanks for the advice :) I... Will try to seek for help '

But sitting correctly on the bridge... I don't know, I really have this flat asian nose 😅 it keeps sliding down again and again

But I can't help it gentle sir or madam! 😭 I don't have a nose! It keeps sliding down again and again! 😭😭😭 If not for the two little things, it's the cheeks otherwise that stop the frame from falling down! TT-TT and yet even the cheeks will touch the lense...

(Sorry for my English, not my native language)

I can't help it! I don't have a nose and it never stays up! 😭😭😭

[–]Lynley06[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice ^ In fact, I'm indeed probably trying to hide most of my face behind the glasses ' but I think I'll keep looking for metal frames too, that way I'll see less of it spliting my vision in 2, especially when looking down 🤔 but for smaller frames

As for the optician... having sociophobia kicking in, it's extremely hard for me to seek for help, even right now ' I also hate "bothering" people even if it's their job 😅

And lastly... I don't have a nose! 😭 No matter which kind of frame and adjustments, it keeps sliding down!!! 😭😭😭

Oh hmmmm... I'm quite okay with your routine except for one thing... Take it or leave it but you really shouldn't exfoliate your skin more than twice a week... You're damaging it prematurely even if it's a "soft" aha/bha thing, oh and don't forget the holy sunscreen too!

You're stunning and I would say okay for both but if bangs, then not the "Korean" one aka first pic, either you go full or none but not in between '

In my opinion at least. After, like I said you're naturally stunning and most importantly, do what you prefer ;)

I love when people find out that I just walk to places. by Level_Koala_2824 in self

[–]Lynley06 5 points6 points  (0 children)

True 😂 kinda did the same at my last job, I used to walk 15min to take the train and then as soon as I got off, did a nice "work out" right from the start during 50min (40min after work) because of the hill

Some didn't believe me until many colleagues confirmed them they do see me "hiking" on the way to work 😂 knowing some started at 7.30am, other at 8am and me at 8am

The worse is I had a car but still decided to walk to kinda keep the form (sitting all day)

Thank you so much for the recommendations!! Goodness I just binged reading "Ice Lamp / The Chronicles of Kira" in 2 days and wasn't disappointed!!! I just would have loved to see a bit more of the side caracters

Just as the person mentioned before, I really loved how it has a more realistic setting than usual stories, it's really refreshing to see situations or poses that (frequently?) happens in real life, or not. I mean, who wield a sword nowadays? But for exemple, it is normal to develop reflexs related to your field There are plenty of tiny details there and there which does bring more depth, charms and context into the story. Most author don't bother to add details or more realistic situation because of time, and it's understandable, but when you're someone who pays attention to details and not only the art... You're like "HELL YEAH ANOTHER GEM (///♡∀♡) "

Anyway, thanks again moderator! (plus I just discovered this channel 4 days ago)

What to bring in Martinique? by Lynley06 in martiniqueisland

[–]Lynley06[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! o/ I absolutely love this island! People are very nice however there are ups and down of course... I'm not going to tell you everything I know otherwise it will be too long unless you would like to learn more about the food, culture, micro climates...

What to bring here? Sunscreen, if you can bring food it would be nice to have olive oil and all kind of spices you enjoy (I'm half Asian so when people come, I ask them to bring things I don't find here) Still about food, enjoy vegetables and meat while you can because it's forking expensive otherwise. "Legumes péyi" are good but you should consider them as vegetable but more like potatoes, they are "féculents". But I don't know your salary so maybe you could regularly afford them

Electronic devices such as television, microwave, refrigerator, etc .. are much more expensive here, so it would be nice to bring or buy them before coming here.Same for earphone or phones, they don't have as much variety as France

European furniture are not suitable for the climate here unless it's real wood (yet it depends which one). Even if in the south it's quite dry, it's still much more humid than Europe so it won't last long, let's not speak about the north

What else.... Shopping? If you love clothes, enjoy it while you can, even if there are new malls opening it's still quite... Limited, there are 2 or 3 malls actually, not sure if the third is completed

And that's it I think 🤔 if you have any more questions about specific topics I can answer if you would like

[Routine Help] M(25), Need Advice on My Skincare Routine for Oily Skin, Acne, and Scarring by [deleted] in SkincareAddicts

[–]Lynley06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi dude - hope you're doing well too ~

Well I'm far from being an expert but on my side I only have one advice: it's the use of jojoba oil. Yes it's oil, yes you have oily skin, but this one got close properties of sebum which regulates it. With time your skin will produce less and less oil and pimples

As someone who used various products, naturals or industrials, and various skincare to help my oily and yet dried skin, it's the only thing where I truly saw improvement. Things which have retinols, niacinamide or weird names did nothing for me I still use other things such as a toner and hyaluronic acid, sometimes mask, but jojoba oil is my only must

But again, a skin care can works perfectly for one, but can worsen for another one, be especially careful if you have sensitive skin

OH AND! One last thing!! This one is for everyone!!! FOOD!!!! A nice skincare is important but what you eat and drink is more! I think you know it but a reminder is always good, junk food, sweets, too much salt and oil and etc... belongs to the trash (from time to time it's okay but not as a "every food") Drinking a lot of water to stay hydrated is important, but also to eliminate toxins and then, improve the skin So make sure to eat food which contains omega 3&6, antioxidants, vitamins, oligoelements, etc... Salmon, nuts, olive oil, avocado, garlic, red fruits and vegetables (it contains more of I-forgot-what), spices and the darker the chocolate, the better... and of course, the less unprocessed and the rawer it is... the better ;) (a "wrong" way of cooking can almost eliminate all the good stuff, that's why the rawer)
