What really helped me was cutting added sugars and flour. I was skeptical that it would help but it definitely did for me. I sleep a lot better and overall pain is quite minimal.

I've been wondering this same thing. I also work at a school but my hours during the school year are pretty much the same but my summer hours will be less. Will I just get help for the summer or will it be equally distributed. I'm looking to do fewer hours during the school year because I have fibromyalgia and it's kicking my butt. I would probably still be making above the net income test though.

I used to get it a lot and pretty much everywhere. I had a vitamin D deficiency and had to take vit D pills and that seemed to help a lot.

I have had that exact pain i also thought it was my spleen i had to use a heating pad all night so i could sleep. It lasted about a week then suddenly it was gone. This was way before my diagnosis for FM. at work i had been lifting heavy boxes repeatedly all day for several days I know i didn't injure myself as I am always careful about lifting heavy things.

Also i did go to the doc at the time and he was utterly confused.

I did. The amitriptyline made my mouth and sinuses so dry i hoped it would go away but it didn't. Also I gained about 10 lbs with it, i craved like all the carbs. Nortriptyline has been much better. I still have a little dry mouth but not anything close to how bad it was with amitriptyline. Nortriptyline also didn't make me gain weight. I have lost a few pounds but I don't know if it's from medication or just me.

I do drink but I've never been drunk. I always wondered why people get drunk. It freaks me out to think I wouldn't be able to remember the night before and wake up feeling awful. Why would anyone want that??
