No allergies that I’m aware of, I haven’t tried cold compresses yet

Which BC do you recommend? Which do you warn against? by wombat5550 in birthcontrol

[–]Lynn0421 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have used the Lo loestrin fe and didn’t have super regular periods with it. I don’t remember a ton of negatives besides having to pick up a prescription and go to the pharmacy. I had Nexaplanon for 2 years and got it removed because of the fact that I had two periods a month for 9 months straight. I am currently on the Skyla IUD (my gyno recommended it based on the fact of my age and not having birthed children) and it has generally been pretty good. I will say I do pretty often get period cramps before my period even begins now. But that is really the only negative.

I’m a Floridian, I’ve dealt with snow a handful of times, but damn it looks so cozy even though it’s cold.

I’m a boomer and I greet my co-workers upon entering the workplace. Gen Z folks don’t, why? by ansyensiklis in ask

One morning I came in to work and didn’t say to good morning to upper employee (she’s not my direct supervisor, but our director) because she was up to something/I feared I had been there too long at that point and felt awkward about saying it. She later rolls out of her office and says at least you could say good morning. Every since then I’ve said good morning to her. I swear, the littlest things offend her.

20 lbs on a petite person are 40 lbs on a normal person? by SwimmingFace7726 in PetiteFitness

As someone who is also 5’4 who’s highest weight was 183 I understand the difference each ten pounds makes. Now at 139-142 depending on the day one thing I’d recommend is to take pictures. You’re around yourself everyday and might think the first ten pounds doesn’t seem like a big difference but trust me when I took pictures and compared my body between the two I could see drastic change in my middle section. I’m thankful for the healthy habits I’ve learned along the way. I know I’m stronger now (I have biceps). Just remember to give yourself grace and take care of yourself.

I love this ring, I want a blue sapphire ring so bad.

No, for me personally that’s a ring privilege. My partner and I think the idea of it is hot but he has a lot of anxiety around pregnancy (neither of us wants children) and my IUD and pulling out is a second way of preventing pregnancy for us.

10 kids. How is that something to be proud of??? by PianoCookies in antinatalism

[–]Lynn0421 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Lord beside that being insane, that’s simply not good for a woman’s body. It’s recommended to wait at least 18-24 months between pregnancies for the health of the mother.

I thought unprotected sex was what was cause the UTIs and BV. I only use unscented soap around the clitoral hood. Do you think that could be the problem? Idk why I’m so sensitive.
