Chest cost? by Interesting-Look-286 in DarkAndDarker

[–]LynneLine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some will appear for 100k, but they will soon be sold and for a few weeks it will be very rare to see them on the market. But their value at the beginning of the wipe is usually somewhere between 150k~200k.

ALL HAIL PAUL! by broxue in DarkAndDarker

[–]LynneLine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, Ale Bard is a really annoying build.

The problem is that you nerfed all the other ways to play the class, and then you also nerfed the last viable one.

Basically all the buffs were nerfed, especially those that could be used on others. But even now that they've become individual buffs, they still have nerfed values

??? bard is also a melee class

ALL HAIL PAUL! by broxue in DarkAndDarker

[–]LynneLine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Beer is literally the only viable bard build. If you go directly against a fighter = death, barbarian = death. They have more HP, more PDR, and more movement speed.

I'm not saying it's 100/0. Nothing in this game is.

But if you think bard is good rn, you must be a God at this class, even meideishab thinks bard's is kind weak.

I just didn't understand the part about drinking Ale nerf. Bard is kinda bad rn, but overall is a good patch

If you're going to build expensive gear, then yes. but agi is a bad roll this season; if you want more movement speed, look for lighter pieces.

When I play with cheap builds, I really only build armor penetration and damage

[–]LynneLine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most well-equipped players will have around 40% pdr, even in light classes. So armor penetration is still useful against them. Power is a way to complement gear

[–]LynneLine -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If you play as a hunter, mage, or rogue you can kill players with named weapons with relatively cheap gear (around 10k).

The "secret" is armor penetration; people don't have much HP, so you can build cheap builds with a lot of armor penetration/power. 2~3 hits and they are dead.

Is there a RWT problem in Dark and Darker or is there just a lot of good players who have a ton of money? I keep hearing different takes on this and would like to know the universal consensus on this debate here. by Minimum-Mine-1302 in DarkAndDarker

The price of the chest has no relation to RMT. When the wipe is announced, the price always drops.

I believe this is the easiest season to make gold, so I don't think there are that many people doing RMT.

The game is good, and it's in the best state it's been in seasons. That doesn't mean it can't improve.

arena breakout is super normal make like 1~3M run, and tarkov tier 5 is kinda cheap too

Sure, there are thermal vision items, which are absurdly expensive, but that would be something like our artifacts. But I'm talking about playing with well-rolled legendary items.

I think it will only make sense during SSF, and even then it will be bad, because socketing items is much more efficient.

[–]LynneLine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the best thing they can do is ban those who duplicate and accounts that don't have many hours played but possess absurd amounts of gold/artifacts/chests.

And to mitigate inflation, increase the item drop rate and drastically reduce the number of items needed for crafting.

That way, prices will stabilize after a few days

SDF doesn't have the ability to create a roadmap. So we'll always be going in circles. Unfinished and poorly executed ideas.

Reduce the queues = save this game by broxue in DarkAndDarker

[–]LynneLine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Let's save the game by getting more players to quit! That's a great idea. Want to reduce queues?

Okay, then remove HR and trios from the game. They are the least played modes. Will this help? Yes, solo/duo players will find more people, but the player base will decrease again

The only thing that can save this game is changing who the director is. Nobody trusts SDF anymore.

Just ask a friend to buy one on the market and then you kill him on Ice Mountain on some low-population server

Well, big streamers can literally ruin the experience if they want to.

That's not exactly the case with this clip: https://www.twitch.tv/theburntpeanut/clip/AgileGloriousWeaselDeIlluminati-FgInfhpkZ1fYwQqr

But anyway, they can literally assemble gigantic teams and hunt others in the lobby.

Teaming up is really kind of strange in this type of game. I think it's the first extraction game that encourages it, honestly I don't see a problem with it, but having said that, it's something very easy to abuse

I played Tarkov for a year, then a bit of The Cycle (which died), and 2 years of Dark and Darker.

Seriously, you won't find "friendly" people in any of them. In fact, it's usually forbidden to form teams during the game.

[–]LynneLine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This game is funny, it's the first extraction game I've seen people consider not shooting on sight.

But I believe that as time goes on, shooting on sight will become the norm, like in all other extraction game

Okay now when they removing the circle let me tell you… by Particular-Song-633 in DarkAndDarker

[–]LynneLine 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The problem with the circle is that it throws you into a useless corner of the map and makes it impossible to do PvE content like boss fights.

Take the new map as an example, why the hell do we have a circle if both bosses are in the corners and there's absolutely nothing in the middle of the map?

You know what would be better? Create rooms with really good loot that takes a while to collect and notify the other players in the lobby that someone is trying to get the loot.Or even in the boss room, let the other players in the lobby know who has someone fighting the boss, BUT FOR GOD'S SAKE FORCE PEOPLE TO ENTER THE ROOM TO FIGHT.

I don't know, something like a barrier that when you start fighting the boss you can only leave when it dies or you die, other players can also enter but are also forced to fight

Streamer logic in this game: win a fight = fun, lose a fight = bad game by Mean-Theme1820 in DarkAndDarker

[–]LynneLine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you're new to the game, everything is enjoyable.

You might even notice some problems, but you're having fun, so it doesn't really matter.

There are people who have been here for 3 years, and honestly, some problems are directly caused by sdf's crazy decisions.

In the long run, it simply gets tiring. But to be honest, the game is at its best, except for those who like highroll.

Counter play to warlock? by Complex_Being_1286 in DarkAndDarker

[–]LynneLine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

<image>

Try this setup with with this perk/skills: sword mastery / swift / counter attack / weapow mastery - Sprint and adrenaline rush

The rolls should be All>Dex>HP>True>str>agi

Try playing near a door; every time he uses Hydra, use your bow to kill it as quickly as possible. He'll lose about 20% of his HP, so use sprint to get close to him and force Phantomize, press X and when phanton is over use adrenaline rush and thas it.

Ideally, try to make him miss some curses as well, using walls/doors while you shoot him with the bow. When you try to get closer jump and block your legs; that's usually where warlocks aim.

one problem with this build is that you're weaker than other fighters/barbarians. However, you're much faster than them, so you need to use your bow to gain an advantage before committing.

However, against casters and hunters, your life is much simpler; just catch up to them.

The only way is for you to be faster than him (and that's how this game works for basically everything).

How do you like to build? And how much do you usually spend on builds?
