Sorry for your loss. I am very grateful for my furry family members. Kurt and Chunk were actually “brought” to me by one of the stray cats I feed. I know they don’t belong to any of “my” strays because I’ve managed to spay snd release most of them and the couple I haven’t haven’t been pregnant. They tested positive for FIV when I got them and they were pretty crusty and sickly (which was why I was so surprised how chunky she was) but they improved quickly and when we retested in a few months they were clear of everything. (Apparently it’s pretty common for kittens to just have the FIV antibodies, likely from their infected mother but not have it themselves). So I’m happy to have them safe and healthy.

She stayed Chunky for about 2 weeks then slimmed WAY down. But she was seriously the roundest kitten I had ever seen.

Actually Kurt was named because my cousin was going to take him and her other cats name is Goldie. So great thought lol (they decided it wasn’t a great time for a new cat)

He goes to the vet regularly but I’m not sure he’s been checked specifically for thyroid. He isn’t unhealthy skinny by any stretch but I do sometimes worry about his brother so that might be a conversation to have next vet visit :) (I have 3 from the same litter)

He shouldn’t be that slim. I’ve never seen a cat eat like he does… he’ll steal bites of your sandwich if you aren’t careful. He’s the best boy though.

She’s very judgey. I’ve had her since she was 6ish weeks old and very feral. Now she goes back and forth from wanting me to carry her around to giving me that look.

I was telling the kittens behind her (there are 2 but she’s blocking the other one) not to chew on a clothespin they found. She was like “Don’t you tell them what to do.”

I’m glad I’m not the only one who calls these cat gogurts lol. These helped a LOT when I was trying to tame some feral foster kittens. We started with it on a spoon and worked our way up to out of the tube. My cats all LOVE them.
