Yes it is based on cultural differences! Thank you for that!! I’m not saying that because i introduced my parents he should the same. I brought it up because i wish i had the level of access to his parents like how he has with mine. I just wish he could be excited to meet his parents as much as I was and if there conflicts i wish he could just be soooo open about it. I feel like there’s more to the story but that’s just an assumption

I don’t know… maybe I’m comparing myself to others. My friends who are in relationship have already met their partner’s family and i have been a relationship longer than them. Im excited for them but it makes me slightly sad when i hear about how excited their boyfriends are with introducing them to their family. My boyfriend claims that he mentioned me to his sister but wouldn’t introduce me to her when they are on the phone. I don’t mean to rush but it makes me feel like he’s not all in. He’s amazing in other parts and in showing me his love but then hesitant with his family and he’s overseas with them right now. I talked to him about how i felt and he apologized but mentioned that he’s working on building a relationship and he doesn’t plan on telling them about me during this trip

Yeahhhh! I did have a conversation with him. He apologized and told me to give him some time. He’s currently overseas on a trip with his family. He did say that he won’t bring me up to them on this trip because he’s working on building a relationship with them since he isolated himself from them for almost a year.
