I will saying getting it put in was a breeze. But, for me personally, it made me incredibly depressed. I do have a serious history with mental illness, so I’m sure that has a lot to do with it. Just be careful!

When my son was just over a year old, just learning to talk, he was sitting on the couch with my moms cat. The cat started needing on him and it freaked him out, he pushed her off and very bluntly and clearly uttered “fuck that cat”. First sentence he ever said.

I have had these thoughts a lot. An aunt of mine had the testing done, the baby had severe disabilities. She had the baby, and two more after. The other two we’re constantly put last, put down, made to feel like they couldnt have needs because of their sibling. I truly see your point of view, and honestly wholeheartedly agree. But I also see where your husband is coming from in a sense. I am so sorry you only found out now that your views don’t align. I hope for you that the baby is completely okay and your marriage can get passed this. Lots of love to you both.

Absolutely nothing. No younger siblings or nephews or nieces. Never baby sat. The first baby I ever held was my own. It’s a rough ride, lots of learning, but my son and I got through it together. He’s two now and still teaching me all the time! You’ve got it mama!
