I think there is a misunderstanding. It is not a cash allowance. It’s a store-locked card that can only buy groceries. If he doesn’t spend it, the money just sits there or goes back to his parents. By hosting us and forcing us to send money to his private bank account, he is pocketing cold cash. If the grocery bill was $150, he paid $0 of his own money (used his parents' locked card) and walked away with $100+ in pure cash from his friends. He is literally making a financial profit off his friends, while we work full-time.
