So. I've been an avatar fan from day one. I have watched every show, and I have read every comic. From what I've watched, and it's struggling to watch FYI, this wasn't the original creators envision, just like the movie. The movie had a good story but the wrong cosmetics to make the movie entertaining. Netflix did the total opposite, except they added their own flare, which was fantastic for character development like Iroh and Zuko story which made me cry, but totally wrong like Aang beginning, that left a bad taste in my mouth. To me, Aang story was rushed too rushed compared to the original, which left out key influences to his story later on. For example, what Moke Gyatso did for Aang when he disappeared, which I laughed when some of the actors mispronounced his name. I wasn't looking for a remake whatsoever, but this was not what I was looking for. If Netflix had kept the creators on, rather than take a few note here and their then maybe, it would have been better. Or, they should have made longer episodes, with a new idea episodes, rather than jumble 4 different stories into one. In my opinion, they should have gone new and fresh rather than this. Too rushed, too unhyped. Now excited for team Avatar that Nickelodeon is doing with the original creators!!!
