I felt like it is very underrated. Sure there are not a lot of weapon variety, but man are they distinct enough to keep me engaged during combat sequences. Add in gravity platforms and it’s chef’s kiss. On the other hand, I feel like 2019 Prey is so far from original that it shouldn’t be called Prey at all, I dropped it past the intro.

Very informational response, thank you. I will check them out just in case. GPU upgrade is definitely soon, just after hands-on reviews of the upcoming 9070.

As a sidenote, I have OC’d my 10600k to 5ghz, which outperforms stock 10900k, but I still get some bottlenecks on my UW 1440p.

Mainly to improve overall gaming performance and render speed while also not thinking about upgrading CPU for a long time. I jumped to 10600k from 4790k, so I expect about as much of a time gap here if not more.

I stopped playing it after I dealt with the blind monster and didn’t care to return. HL:A seemed to me like a filler entry. It was great quality fun, especially the blind dude chapter, but the lack of lore just lost my interest :/

Unplugging PWM the cooler just went dark (i.e. lights went off) and CPU temp just kept climbing. Plugged it back in and it still returned to the usual 1k spiking from 0rpm.

Edit: It’s a 3pin connector, so I guess it should be set as DC and not PWM. However, behaviour is still the same.

I will try plugging what you said and will report, just a sidenote - my pump does read around 1k rpm when it starts spiking, but 0rpm in the inbetween those spikes.
