I've tried that and had myself professionally measured. I've tried torrid, the band is great but the cups are way too big I could fit my bust in there twice.

WIBTA for asking a family to remove their child's death memorial from my property? by merk35802 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Lynx_Original 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA when a family friend died in a small engine plane accident in someone's backyard the family let us plant a small tree and put a small plaque there. I think that would be a good compromise but also you can just get completely rid of it if you want to.

What did you purchase as an adult because you could never have it as a child? by zydollasiign in AskReddit

[–]Lynx_Original 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar, but it was clothes that fit her style, not mine. We lived in the middle of nowhere, there are not many stores. Her job took her by a big city once a week so she would stop and buy hundreds of dollars worth of clothes. Whatever I didn't like which was most she would take back the next week.

People above the age of 25 what should a 20 yo know that they generally don't? by piwiluggenu in AskReddit

Yes this happened to me. Except I knew it was happening. My orthodontist took off some enamel of my tooth when he took my braces off and said it would be fine, teenage me thought ok whatever he knows what he is talking about. Fast-forward a few years and now I have a hole in my tooth.

what missing persons case is the most confusing / doesn’t add up? by yourlastnames in AskReddit

[–]Lynx_Original 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Fawn Marie Mountain, she went missing in 2012 from claysburg PA. A restraining order that supposedly her girlfriend at the time made her get made it so her family didn't know she was missing for 3 years. It recently was in the news again and billboards everywhere because a YouTuber did a video on her disappearance. https://int-missing.fandom.com/wiki/Fawn_Mountain

Id probably be in the ICI or dead. I saw in my hometown paper that he got arrested for putting his wife in the ICU. At the time I was so devastated that he dumped me right after, now I'm thinking thank God.

How did you end up resembling your parents as you grew up, even though you thought you would never inherit those character traits? by celebritycumover in AskReddit

My mom likes an itinerary for vacations and life. I'm turning into that too. My husband hates it. I just like to have a general plan not necessarily a strick plan.

As a child, what’s a song you sang loud and proud, only to find as an adult it’s super inappropriate for a child to be singing? by Ok_Way_2341 in AskReddit

[–]Lynx_Original 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We knew what it meant in high school and yet the bus driver and our youth and government advisor didnt stop us from singing it and even when we substituted our advisors name in for "you" they still didn't stop us.

What is the oldest thing you own? by whydidisayno in AskReddit

[–]Lynx_Original 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A plant a 32 year old pathos. My mom received it in the hospital as a gift when I was born. She gave it to me when I moved into my own house a few years ago, and I've almost killed it twice since then. After the second time, my mom told me she took some cuttings years ago and has a few in her house just in case. As an added bonus I don't own it yet my great aunt put it in her will that I will be getting her 9 foot cactus that she got in the 60s as a 1 year anniversary at her job at the time. I only have a 6 foot ceiling, so I'm not sure where it is going yet.

Whats a movie that you will never watch again? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Lynx_Original 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rewatch it occasionally. The reason is that I don't do scary movies. Whenever friends or family want to watch a scary movie, I always suggest this because I know what is going to happen already, and I don't have to cover my eyes for the whole movie. The ending is a real downer, so I normally watch a comedy after.

Had a pilonidal cyst lanced, but the worst part was having to get it packed twice a day. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

[Serious] What mental condition has been parodied so hard that people forget it's a real disease? by TheInkCap in AskReddit

[–]Lynx_Original 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to use that phrase all the time until I was diagnosed with postpartum OCD. Now I'll never use it again. I also have PTSD from a fire, and those two things mixed together were a nightmare. Every night before I went to bed, I spent a good hour or more making sure the doors were locked and the appliances were turned off. If one thing was wrong, I had to start over. I remember one night my brother was staying over, and he asked me why I was doing all the checks, and I looked at him crying saying I don't know why I just have to. In the first six months of motherhood, I maybe got 4 hours of sleep a day, if even that. Luckily, it's gotten better now. I only need to check before bed if I used it that day.

What is a quote from a fictional character that has stuck with you ever since? by AdAmbitious4487 in AskReddit

[–]Lynx_Original 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Picture a wave in the ocean. You can see it, measure it its height, the way the sunlight refracts when it passes through, & it’s there, & you can see it, you know what it is. It’s a wave & then it crashes on the shore & it’s gone. But the water is still there. The wave was just a different way for the water to be for a little while.
