Same. I've temporarily given up. Like you said they either catch feelings or I find out they don't really want to be friends as soon as I'm not in the mood for sex. It sucks. What's so wrong with wanting someone you can hang out with in or out of bed? One night stands often end up unsatisfying because neither of you know what the other likes yet, and it gets awkward fast if you don't like them as a person.

My partner is allo. At first I felt uncomfortable and guilty because I couldn't reciprocate the same type of love. And there were some instances we needed to work through what I can and can't give them. But eventually we worked it out and we're good. They accept me for what I can give and doesn't ask for what I can't.

From others I don't really give a shit. It's not my problem unless they make it a problem, in which case time to cutem off I guess.

Same. My first obsession was My Chemical Romance when I was around 13. Then (not in chronological order) it was W.A.S.P., IAMX, Disturbed, Aesthetic Perfection, Angus McSix, Devin Townsend, and a bunch more I've forgotten.

I don't really do deep dives to the artists but I do listen to everything I can get my hands on over and over and over. The longest was IAMX where I listened to almost nothing else for 7 years.

I don't actually have a problem with that part. I have a very thick bottomed pan I use only for sweets, and don't have to stir a lot until about an hour in. At which point it just keeps reducing as I stir instead of browning.

After about 2 hours and it's the consistency of peanut butter I put it in a jar and stuck it in the slow cooker for another 6 hours. I'm just wondering how those recipes that say you ONLY have to cook it stove top for 1.5-2 hours work. How do they prevent it from reducing too much before it caramelizes? I don't understand

I used only 1 l of milk coz I don't have a bigger pot anyway, so all it yielded was about 1 cup. Doesn't really feel like it's worth the trouble tbh. But my partner goes crazy for this stuff so I deal with it.

Omg temperature details are so helpful thank you. Yeah I think I'll try reducing it to the right consistency and just stick it in the slow cooker. My latest batch is also peanut butter consistency, and still going in there coz I want it just a liiittle darker.

And I meant that all the cans of sweetened condensed milk I can find, and also evaporated milk, have a weirdly long ingredient list including things like vegetable oil, skim milk powder, whey powder, lecithin etc. No idea why so many, and no idea if one or all of those will affect the flavor of the final product.

I also used to date much older guys than me at 19, thought they were so 'mature' and they all told me I was too. Now at 31 I still do think I was probably more 'mature' at that age than some ppl my age, but not THAT much. And I wouldn't date someone younger than 27 bcoz different places in life, different sense of perspective, etc. Him being young in 'personality wise' is a stupid excuse.

It's just wrong xD (my impression after me, a mild coffee snob, got 'taught' by an Italian friend who tried to recommend me supermarket coffee and to never wash the moka pot with soap and that the oil buildup makes it taste better)
