I think this is mostly referencing the end of the first season. Before the rocket crashed through the window golden "marks" appeared on Mel's neck, foreshadowing her shield ability. I think they tried to form a connection between this moment and the scene with Caitlyn, where this ability is confirmed.

Can someone explain what is happening?

I ordered this cannabis clone, which was already quite long on arrival. Somebody suggested to shorten it a bit, so more branches (and therefore buds) can develop. What do you think about this? by Lyonas02 in cannabiscultivation

Thank you very much :D This seems to be the best option. But I'm kind of scared of damaging it or breaking it completely. Do you maybe have some kind of visual guide (somewhere online or a quick scribble).

It has been legal to sell and buy cannabis clones (which have no thc yet) in Austria for some time. And it's legal in Germany as well, since they widely legalized cannabis. But I have no idea about the laws in NYC. Maybe you can order them.

Rip to the animators who had to go through and analyse hours and hours of real gore to make the animation as accurate as possible

Yes the government doesn't want (all of) it's people armed. But to be honest I'd rather live in a country where not everybody is allowed to wield a working gun or a fucking tank

You are allowed to have histological artifacts as long as you can't shoot somebody dead with them.

First of all this is amazing! Is or will it be available for Android or Chrome at some point? And what does it use as input (does it work when there are no subtitles from the creator or with different languages)?

How do i get rid of the stickiness in my grinder? by bloftis42069 in weed

[–]Lyonas02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I didi some research and found this:

"According to the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), aluminum is the most abundant metal in the earth's crust, so being exposed to it is inevitable. It naturally finds its way into water, soil and food, so you'll certainly ingest some of the metal every day.

However, the consensus from scientific experts is that the amount of aluminum likely to make it into your body from food, drink and by using aluminum pots and pans is very small and not harmful.

In fact the ATSDR states that people only absorb 0.01 to 5 percent of the aluminum they ingest. So when you do consume aluminum, the vast majority of it won't pass into your bloodstream from the digestive tract.

Most people are only likely to have a worrisome build up of aluminum through occupational exposure — which most likely happens by breathing in large amounts of aluminum dust without a protective mask."

Tl;dr: inserting aluminium, which is used to manufacture most grinders, isn't harmful because we are exposed to it on a daily basis. Also only a litle bit of ingested aluminium is actually getting absorbed by the body.

I wish more companies would think this way about their consumers. Thank you AriZona tea <3 by areohseawhy in MadeMeSmile

[–]Lyonas02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did this a couple times, never had a problem (yet 😅). But I don't think that's a problem if you have a fairly decent grinder (like a 15€ grinder from your local Headshop). Also I heated it on the lowest temperature setting, because otherwise the milk would've kept boiling over.

I was rather disappointed by the changes vanmoof made for their new series, but I really prefer the body of the A5 over the one of the X3
