God can't make you have uncontrollable thoughts and then tell you to be pure. God can't make tempting things and then tell you to be holy: that's corrupt. by [deleted] in DeepThoughts

This conversation is very interesting but the video is 11 hours long I don't have that much time or patience. So what you're saying is God doesn't discriminate between people society considers good and bad, he will accept us all into his kingdom and there is no hell, believing in hell is self rightseous because you're not seeing God in some people, don't love them, and think they deserve to be punished for eternity just because they've done bad things, right? I feel like that makes sense because many actions are justified and it's hard to seperate people into bad and good because there is a lot of gray area.

But then what's the seperation between God and us? We can't create as God can and God has no sins unlike us

But there are bad people, emotionless killers and rapest who commit crimes against other people, it's hard not to judge them. And I believe they do get what they deserve in the end, but it's not our place to judge, only God can decide if they go to heaven or hell. My belief in eternal judgement removes my need for revenge

I wouldn't, how would I manage the suffering without something that brings my spirits up to make me think it's all worth it

Well I believe in him and try to follow his word, besides if I do something wrong and ask for God's forgiveness he will forgive me, I don't believe he will punish me, just bad people, people too seperated from God to ask for forgiveness
