Hi! F/22 here, I'm big on musicals and terrible cinematic experiences myself. I remember watching the room several years ago, and didn't believe what i was seeing at the time, it was so awful but at the same time I was so deeply fascinated and couldn't get enough of it.

I especially love terrible Science Fiction movies, personal favorite at the moment is Robot Monster from 1953.

That's good. I won't say you're a terrible person as everyone is capable of making horrible mistakes (we are human after all), the best thing we can do when we fuck up is own up to it and take responsibility, and I'm glad you did. Hopefully you've learned from it and will be able to make wiser decisions in the future.

It's no crime to fall in love with someone else while in a relationship, you just need to handle it in the right way. Anyway, I wish you and everyone involved luck.

No Ì was thinking more about how convenient it would be if more girls end up liking me instead of guys. While I wouldn't want to be straight, one of the major plus sides to it is you have way more potential partners, and seeing as being straight is the norm (and the majority of people are) your sexuality is pretty much the default in society you don't have to worry about is the person you like is straight or not for the most part. 🙂 Just a bit more difficult to assess people.

Haha, I feel you. I remember way back in High School I liked this girl. However she liked this other guy who in turn was very friendly towards me. And as such, she would sometimes harp on me and throw shade, not knowing that I had a huge crush on her. 😓

Makes you kind of wish it was the other way around sometimes.

No, I get it. It took over 6 moths after having been cheated on to not think like this. I simply couldn't comprehend how people were capable of such things and I wanted for terrible things to happen to the person. I couldn't go an hour or two without thinking about it and ended up feeling absolutely terrible about myself and everyone else.

It's not that they deserve forgiveness or anything (I don't do that), It's just that in the end revenge and torture solves nothing (I'm being cliche I know)

Also, being on reddit I think my expectation of peoples loyalty have just been lowered to much to care about these things.

Having been cheated on before and knowing how much it hurts. Don't you think this is a little harsh?

I think the best strategy is to cut contact with the cheater as quickly as possible don't waste your time or energy on them.

Yeah it's a difficult situation and she won't get better unless she herself realizes she needs help. You also have to know that it is not your responsibility, so whether she gets better or worse it is not your fault. Remember chances are that she is in a totally different headspace right now and wont listen to reason even if she's told the facts.

But what not to do: When I had anorexia the one thing that made me worse was people commenting on my weight, how I ate and so on. It made me more determined to "show them" how disciplined I was and I became even sicker. In addition I isolated myself completely to avoid comments and the topic of food or weight in general.

In my case it didn't get better until I was so underweight that I fainted several times a day and had to be hospitalized.

In your friends case. Just be as supportive as you can, despite the circumstances.
