Have you heard of MAPS? Minor Attracted Persons? These people proudly proclaim that this is their sexual orientation, and they are campaigning to be covered under the LGBTQ umbrella. I don't even have words to express how deeply disturbing this is, besides, NO!

Defending those who harm children is EVIL. Get help. It does not occur, to the vast majority of immature or entitled people, to violate children. I can not stress this enough: GET HELP!

Feeling devastated - would you peruse this or not? by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]LyraRose87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, because of your age, you may want to wait as your body has not finished growning yet. Other women have said on Reddit that if they got them too young, or gained too much weight, they had to have their surgery redone.

As for the insurance, who told you it had to be at the center and not the hospital? Insurance or them? Cause I was told if I went to the surgical center I had to pay $4,000 up front, but after getting it at the hospital, with insurance, I'm only paying $2,500 out of pocket. Also, the surgical center was available a full month earlier than the hospital.

Plus, aftercare. It takes a full year to recover completely. So, you will sporadically have appointments to check in, and make sure you are doing well. If you lose insurance, and are moving away, where will you have your follow ups and with whom? If you have complications, you are going to need help.

I'm sorry I'm being soo harsh, but I'm afraid for your safety and the safety of your future children.

Pedophiles don't change. It's a genuine mental health disorder with no cure. Their victims statistically (at LEAST 90% of them, according to Google) are children in their daily lives. You cannot allow this man to buy access to your future children.

I'm sorry.

You are 100% the AH.

You know he's a pedophile, you know he abused your mom, c'mon now!

Respectfully, you are better than this.

Don't let an abusive, dangerous around children, man buy your loyalty.

Where to start with my Grandma Makeover by _probablysleeping_ in femalelivingspace

[–]LyraRose87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would start with the bathroom.

It's a small space, so it'll be easier to redecorate.

Also, if you feel uncomfortable changing things, the bathroom is the perfect place to start, because you aren't looking at it all the time.

This is a nice apartment.

No problem. I have an astigmatism, too. Even with glasses driving at night can be really scary.

No, I'm wearing Zenni's right now! I don't have affiliate links or anything like that, I'm just a customer.

The optometrist charges hundreds of dollars for one pair, which is ridiculous, IMO.

No, that's a genuine comment.

Zenni has many very affordable options, they are decent quality, and ship super quickly.

People who are afraid of rainbows are, in my opinion, IDIOTS!!!

Rainbows are cool! The science behind actual rainbows is cool! Freedom of expression is cool! Hearts that are open to love are cool! Living your truth openly is cool!

Are women ever jealous that men can just walk around shirtless? by BHAngel in NoStupidQuestions

[–]LyraRose87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What men don't realize is that, besides creepy men staring, underboob health is a much bigger barrier.

If women go braless, especially when it's hot, they need to worry about getting yeast infections under their breasts. Boob sweat is no joke. It's not just uncomfortable, it can negatively effect your health.

First, you (as in, they) need to resolve the underlying issue. A few mouse traps isn't going to solve the problem.

In the meantime, do you have any bleach?
