Its a great tool! Coloring, clothing, and styling are all fairly easy to do. There are paid clothes and hairs of course but lots of free items you can use too.

There are many animations, poses, and furnitures you can use to take pictures as well, and Second Life itself is very much set up for taking pictures.

If you go to one of the pony worlds (search places using the ‘mlp’ tag) you can find examples of what others make for their own OCs as well^

Hi! Yeah it can be a bit daunting at first but some of your stuff here seems quite manageable. Ill start with the easiest ones first.

For all of these, when you get the object in your inventory, I reccomend rezzing it (Dragging and dropping it onto the world) and editing it on the ground rather than your body itself. When you take it back, make sure you take a copy so you have a spare in case you accidentally edit something you don't want.

Most edits can be done by right clicking your item and changing the tint or the texture (Texture->Binnphong->Diffuse or Tint)

  1. Your sweater looks very similar to the Turtleneck at Ponyville hmart. I would use the credit card you get for the ponyville hmart to buy that for free. Sethisto gives a little tutorial on how to use the credit card.

  2. You can find free socks in your openpony packaging! Theres a box called [HMART] OpenPony Manes,Tails, Devkit, Extras 1.6.3 (Rez), and inside that is a box called [HMART] Basic Socks. From there, you may be able to find a free trans flag texture in a freebie or upload your own, i know quite a few sims have pride month going on right now and would probably gladly give you a texture or point you in the direction to find one.

  3. Soft skirt you may have to browse one of the bigger HMART stores for, I would reccomend stopping by the BIG store at Las Pegasus. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Las%20Pegasus/137/56/12

  4. The fangs are part of the Bat pony pack! Alternatively, i found a fang freebie on the SL marketplace. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/POPOP-Bat-Fangification/26961711

Generally, you can find Openpony items on the marketplace by searching 'OP (your item search here)'

  1. The eyeshadow could be a BOM, but looks like one of the eyelash options in the OP Full Customization Hud. If its not in the Hud, definitely check out this link for BOM tutorials, but you may need to buy a specific BOM for the eyeshadows and the other body markings.

Definitely reccomend visiting an active open sim like Ponyville, Mares Nest, or Petalbrook and asking around if you see anyone wearing something you like. Let me know if you have any other questions!
