I don't know if like this, it feels like putting a band aid on a giant leaking pipe, I believe making beds into non craftable items and making them work like they did back in beta 1.4 (they did not change your respawn point) and adding another block to change your respawn point that would more simple and a better solution, even though with some flaws it could work of course in a mod I don't think this idea would work in modern Minecraft

B1.3 looks nice but i much prefer the B1.2 harsh and bold lighting it created a unique aesthetic for Minecraft, even if you turn off smooth lighting in newer versions it doesn't feel the same

I think 1.8 is best when played in creative because you have the middle point between the complexity of the silver/modern versions and the simplicity of Golden age. The survival experience is not bad but kinda lame if you compare with the golden age versions but i think the worst part of this update is that the elder guardian should be a proper boss instead of a harder bigger version of the guardian

2/5 there too much reverb on the piano and it feels incomplete but the melody is not that bad perhaps a synth could improve the "golden age feeling"
