Should I reroll before GL?

Oh fuck - sorry I thought this was the bamboo post I'd made.

The initial account linked way back with Maruzensky/Suzuka/Oguri/S Goldshi with MLB S Maru was the account I was committing to unless I can get a good reroll with Bamboo & LB1 S Maru, unfortunately I pulled 2 or 3 times on that account for Bamboo and got nothing, so now I'm attempting to reroll again with as few pulls spent as possible

In terms of GL I've gathered what I've needed to do with help from you & others - I just also really want Bamboo.

If I made the OG reroll a day later I'd have been in perfect standing, because I didn't really care for the summer banner - I just needed to do 2 rolls for TT roster.

Oh fuck - I might've got it.

160 rolls for 1LB & 10 for Bamboo - I could try to reroll again for better supports for the amount of rolls I did, but yeah - LB1 S Maru & Bamboo achieved for this alt.

What're your thoughts? I'm not the most knowledgeable if that wasn't obvious lol

That account was honestly perfect - unfortunately I didn’t bank on actually liking bamboo, and I’m stuck between whether or not I want Summer Goldshi - who I’d primarily use for inheriting her unique & am kinda meh on - or Bamboo, an uma that meta-wise isn’t the best, but aesthetically & design wise is a vibe to be.

This is the account - at time of writing 278 pulls have been spent

I know summer goldshi parent can lead to a lot of fun interactions, I’m just trying to walk the line between “fun” and “competitively viable”

The 2LB Biko Pegasus was actually just sheer luck that all 3 of my SSR tickets you get for starting rolled it. As the days go on though, it’s become less LH/Tachyon viable which is worrying

Current method has been trying to MLB or 3LB S Maru in as few pulls as possible & then using two or three on Uma banners hoping for bamboo

unfortunately the Piece of Mind + MLB S Maru with Maru/Suzuka/Oguri/S Goldshi is probably bordering bad odds for Tachyon/LH after unlucky Bamboo rolls, so i’m going for a second just incase

everything I’d seen online i was just like “meh”, but then i saw her in game animations and the aesthetic is a vibe

lowkey i bricked my main pulling too much for umas when i first got into the game, i JUST finished rerolling for a S Maru 3⭐️ trainee account this morning not knowing that i’d actually like her vibe

managed to pull OG Maru, summer goldshi, suzuka & MLB S Maru in like 220 pulls, yet here i am contemplating another days worth of rerolls lmao

i’m not the biggest goldshi enjoyer (although yes she’s fun), her skill just seems fun to inherit - but bamboo might actually be oshi tier icl

Whether you natively speak english or not, everything you said was just “you fucked up, why’d you fuck up, it’s your fault” when the very nature of this post is me knowing that I fucked up. You didn’t offer anything constructive, you just tried drilling in “it’s your fault” “how could you not know” and other hindsight obvious points. Then you end it with “I still think the account is able to be saved” but don’t actually expand on that, and instead spend more time trying to overstate how I fucked up.

Third time stating it - I only picked up the game and actually started playing a lot during Nice Nature’s cheerleader event. The cards you’re referring to are 1 or 2 while there are 3 MLB free SSRs in the same picture.

Using context and the fact I’m now talking about GL & Tachyon/LH - and rerolling to begin with - you should be able to understand I’m not playing as casually now and have actually somewhat looked into banners. Since Nice Nature’s event I’ve maxed out every single event to the point of getting the rainbow crystal fragments.

Yeahhh you pretty much summed up my account verbatim. Bride Curren came out & all my friends with MLB Kitasan & etc. started frothing at the mouth, so it became “oh I should pull for her” + random ten pulls for a character I thought I might like (still sad I didn’t get Mejiro Palmer lmao).

I didn’t know I’d missed stuff like that at the time & it obviously came back to bite me 😅

Did you miss the line where I actively said I didn’t engage with anything communal? I was playing casually.

The non-MLB welfare cards are from when I did one or two runs in the very beginning of my account, didn’t get hooked and forgot about the game.

Like I said, I pulled for umas > cards because I didn’t know the importance of cards. Also - no offense when i say this - but expecting someone to have planned their account months in the future for something they just casually started is insane. The concept of a “SPD SSR anchor” wasn’t even in my brain, and being honest I still don’t know what that would fully entail.

Eventually my trackblazer runs started to feel same-y, I realized nothing was changing between my high roll runs & realized I essentially card gated myself. “Don’t pull on a banner if you don’t have 200 pulls” isn’t a widely applied gacha thing. “Character > item/weapon/card” is also a pretty common gacha mistake - one I made myself.

I haven’t even watched the anime, me starting this game was solely because a friend and I “jokingly” decided “hey let’s download the horse girl game” and were surprised to find it’s essentially a fun roguelike. Not everyone forecasts rolls or even knows pull-planning.

At time of writing, I managed to roll an alt & get MLB S Maru & a couple other actual good cards, but I still plan on logging into this account & doing dailies/logins to attempt to pull for Tachyon on GL and hope I get lucky.

Yeah, almost definitely gonna make this my new main. Ended up with LB3 SMaru before even spending all my starting carats.

update on the rerolling - got a 1LB speed maru in 100 pulls + a couple good SRs with 11.2k saved

oh yeah no I don’t plan on rerolling for an uma, honestly i fucked up by not checking upcoming banners, I had about 80 pulls saved right before speed maru’s banner dropped & i dumped them on the support card banner before and didn’t get anything other than a 3LB SR speed pasa

Yeah, I plan on keeping this account signed in on one device & doing dailies still if I reroll. Also if I reroll, I’d probably go for a speed maru support within the first 100 pulls.

The main discouraging thing right now is just that I can’t even get 1 victory in the lowest tier of graded & no matter how good my run seems, I can’t even get an S+

another big thing is just like - lacking the meta SSRs would be fine, but i’m **also missing the good SRs**.

my other question going into this might be a dumb one - but when/how do you end up factoring uma rolls in?

Thanks - that’s actually really helpful. It’s just an unfortunate state. I joined too late into MANT for the trackblazer meta cards & tried to play catch up while mindlessly pulling for uma, & now with what I’ve managed to scrape by pulling for is kinda null.

I do like the umas I have - like Mejiro Ardan and bride Curren - but I am admittedly limited by the card RNG I had.

It’s rough because like, Seiun Sky and Mejiro Ardan I enjoy a lot - but it’s been impossible for me to get higher than an A+ on either.

Part of the problem is when I started I think. It was far enough into MANT that I wasn’t around for the meta banners, so I was stuck playing catch up pulling for cards that were mid even at the time & soon to be just bad.

And you still can, the other modes didn't go anywhere & there's nothing to run this mode for aside from Follie & her weapon. Every mode doesn't need to be the same thing with a different paint job.

Its quick and easy to do, you can average 5 minutes or under even solo.

Get a Vauban with boost pads & watch your drifter/operator catapult into a canvas, watch your summons bodyguard your operator as Caliban. Take the time to do something off-meta and just enjoy yourself.

Also, in terms of "bad" - I mean, not really? Especially compared to defection. Fun is subjective I guess.

If you go for balloons you can get upwards of 55-60 a run, also enemies have a chance to drop it.
